One night in the sky, a little star named Twinkle was too sleepy to shine. All the other stars danced in the moonlight, but Twinkle just yawned.
Why so tired?” asked the Moon gently.
“I try so hard to shine bright, but I’m always the smallest star,” Twinkle sighed.
The Moon smiled. “You don’t need to be big to be bright.”
Just then, the Midnight Parade began! Comets twirled, planets marched, and the stars made a sparkling tunnel for the parade to pass through.
Twinkle felt shy. “I can’t dance like them.”
“Just be yourself,” said a comet zooming by. “That’s enough.”
Twinkle took a deep breath and gave a tiny twirl. Her light wiggled and sparkled.
Suddenly, the parade paused. Everyone gasped. “Look at that sweet shimmer!” said Saturn.
Twinkle smiled wide. Her sleepy glow lit up a path for the rest of the parade.
From then on, Twinkle was known as the Star of the Midnight Parade — small, sweet, and shining in her own way.
