Raindrop Ruby was the quietest drop in the cloud. While others giggled as they fell to Earth, Ruby stayed behind, watching.
“I’m scared,” she whispered. “What if I fall wrong?”
A wise breeze whispered, “Falling is part of the magic.”
So Ruby closed her eyes and let go.
She tumbled through the sky — wobbly at first, then smooth and sparkly.
Down below, the sun peeked through. Light kissed every drop in the air.
And suddenly — a rainbow bloomed.
Ruby had landed right in the middle, making the softest hue of pink at the edge.
Children below clapped and pointed. “Look! It’s a pink stripe!”
Ruby blushed. She never thought she could shine like this.
