In the middle of a magical meadow stood Bellie, a small silver bell on top of a fairy toadstool.
Each morning, she was supposed to ring and wake up the fairies.
But Bellie was forgetful. One morning, she simply… forgot.
The sun rose. The birds chirped. But the fairies snoozed on.
“Oh no!” Bellie gasped. “I missed the morning chime”
She jiggled with worry. A little fairy, half-asleep, fluttered up.
“It’s okay,” she yawned. “We needed extra sleep.”
Still, Bellie felt sad — until the Moon whispered from above, “Why not ring at night?”
So Bellie rang a gentle tune as stars twinkled in the sky.
Fairies gathered with cocoa and cookies. “What a lovely lullaby”
